Woke up feeling good today and that’s good because I needed to do some Time Trial work. I saw my neighbor was having some trouble with her washing machine so feeling good and neighborly, I decided to lend my assistance, but to no avail. I told her there’s no way she’s getting her washer door open again. She is having a professional come tomorrow. Got out on the bike and saw a lot of my teammates doing the same thing I was doing. I rode back with Steve Cozza who is recovering from a broken collarbone. Came back home and put my legs in the compression from Nomatec. I had a tiny nap and went into town to have a coffee with Johnny Weltz, one of the directors of the team. He was going to help another teammate get a scooter and I had one in the shop that I needed to pick up so I went along. I dropped this scooter off there 7 years ago and decided last week to pick it up. The man at the shop said it wasn’t quite ready!!! He asked me to come back the next week. Today it was ready. So after 7 years I finally reclaimed my scooter. The owner of the shop took my picture to hang on the wall. He said I broke some kind of record. I’m just glad they didn’t charge me some sort of storage fee.
