Leaving for the Tour of Switzerland in a few hours after a hectic week here in Girona. I haven’t been alone over here in a long time. It’s not easy doing all the shopping, cooking, and cleaning. My wife sure is a big help when she is here. Randi would love to be with me but she is a little too pregnant to be flying around the world, and I’m pretty much racing the days I’m here so it didn’t make sense for her to make the trip. So now when I go into the local shops they all ask how Randi and Waylon are doing and tell me how ‘guapo’ (handsome) he is.
Got a few nice pieces from my buddy Greg at Sideshow to decorate the apartment. It’s become an exciting event for the girl at Mail Boxes etc. when I come to claim a box from Sideshow. I always open them there and put the contents in a bag to make it easier to walk home while transporting the goods. Yesterday she helped open the box and smiled along with me as I pulled out a Terminator 2 T-800 Endoskeleton and an Alien piece. Now they sit on the shelf watching me cook, clean, and of course play the new Red Dead Redemption from Rockstar Games. Still feeling good from The Amgen Tour of California, and certainly hoping to do well at the Swiss tour.
